Variations within a product

Generate combinations from options such as colour and size within one product. Manage stock, EAN, SKU and price for each variation.

01 / Guide

Different options of one product

All variations belong to the same product. Instead of creating separate products for a T-shirt in red/S and blue/M, you prepare combinations within the product.

To connect separate products, see variations between products

02 / Guide

Prepare attribute headings first

First go to Product → Variations in the panel. This is where you create the attribute headings and option values to use within products.

HeadingValues
ColourRed, Blue
SizeS, M, L

The heading identifies the attribute; values are the options a customer can choose. Once created, you can use these headings in product settings.

03 / Guide

Generate combinations within the product

  1. Open the relevant product’s settings.
  2. Add the prepared attribute headings and the values to use for this product.
  3. Use the combination generation action.
  4. Edit stock, EAN, SKU and price for each resulting combination.
2 colours × 3 sizes = 6 combinations

Red/S, Red/M, Red/L, Blue/S, Blue/M and Blue/L. Each row is a distinct variation of the same product.

04 / Guide
