Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies are used on Twicart and how you can manage your cookie preferences.
Last Update: 18.09.2026
1. What Is a Cookie?
Cookies are small text files stored by websites in your browser.
2. Types of Cookies We Use
We use essential, preference, analytics, and marketing cookies to improve the platform experience.
3. Retention Periods
Session cookies are removed when your browser closes; persistent cookies expire automatically after a defined period.
4. Third-Party Cookies
Tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager may place cookies under their own policies.
5. Managing Cookies
You can block or delete cookies via browser settings; disabling essential cookies may impact core functionality.
6. Consent and Preferences
Continuing to use the platform indicates your acceptance of this cookie policy.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR and related laws, you may request access, deletion, or object to data processing.
8. Policy Updates
Twicart may update this policy based on legal or technical requirements.
9. AI Setup Assistant
The AI Setup Assistant on the homepage uses a persistent cookie named user_token (365 days) so your conversation continues across visits, and stores an ai_chat_started flag in your browser. If you clear the cookie, the earlier conversation becomes unreachable; the assistant keeps working.
10. Visit statistics
The same user_token cookie is also used for anonymous visit statistics that help us understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, the time between pages, where visitors come from (search engine, social media, campaign link), device type and country. This measurement is done entirely by Twicart, is never shared with third parties, and your IP address is not stored in raw form (it is summarised irreversibly with a key that changes daily). Raw records are deleted after 90 days. To opt out, simply open twicart.com/?twi_notrack=1; your choice is stored in this browser.
